Dr. Joan Pi-Anfruns was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. He earned his degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2004 from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain. He is an alumnus of the Advanced Implant Program, Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, New York University (2005-2007). He joined the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2007 where he completed a Fellowship in Surgical Implant Dentistry. Currently, Dr. Pi-Anfruns is a full time Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA School of Dentistry, Divisions of Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences and Restorative Dentistry and a Visiting Professor at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain.
Dr. David Lipton
Dr. Lipton received is dental degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He continued his training in the field of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. During his three-year residency, Dr. Lipton received extensive clinical training in regenerative periodontal therapy, soft and hard tissue reconstruction, esthetic periodontal procedures, oral medicine, IV sedation and placement of dental implants. Throughout his training, Dr. Lipton has won numerous awards for his research and clinical skills. Dr. Lipton is also a published author in the field of periodontics as well as a national and international speaker.
