Thank you for your presentation. Regarding one of the studies you mentioned (patients with periimplantitis, one group with preventive hygiene measures and another without for a 5 years follow up). Was the second group okay not to have any preventive measures knowing they had periimplantitis?

17 tooth …post loading.After 2 months.mobility is seen .opg reveals periimplanitis.Patient( age 20 yrs female ) experiances pain in unscrewing crown .please suggest line of treatment .Dr bhalla implantologist india.
Will not the probing around implants cause loss of attached gingivalt tissues to the abutments to disconnect and facilitate more periodontal problems in the future?
were the results adjusted for other factors or crude estimates? There could be a higher % of periimplantitis in patients with bone augmentation because those patients might have poorer oral hygiene vs. those without bone augmentation.

If patient still has 6-7mm deep pocket in some teeth after periodontal surgery with GTR, is it ok to proceed for implant tx on adjacent teeth? Thanks!
