Excellent presentation! Thanks!
Fantastic presentation, thanks!
With optical scanning , doesn’t the accuracy decrease the farther the implants are apart cross arch? Also stitching issues going cross arch. How do you overcome these limitations?
For mandibular scan, one could use a impression transfer screw (at least for Astra Osseospeed) at place of
Temporary abutment screw.
Not sure if I got the lower fiducial marker idea. Would you use a higher screw that can both hold the scanbody and the temp abutments?
what intraoral scanner where you usining? any brand preference?
Excellent!
Hey it’s akil So what if we want to provisionalize at the time of surgery but not use an analogue pickup like you showed. Hard to use DDS technique with bleeding etc ? is this where photogrammetry comes in?
Congrats dear colleague. What about straumann abuttments selection with this type of hybrid prosthesis? What straumann abuttment reference do you prefer?
Congratulations! Great lecture!!!
Thank you for your presentation!
Do you feel that a good way to start is getting a scanner?
Great presentation. Congrats. Thanks so much
What were the palatal stickers called and who’s selling them ? Great webinar btw!
Any comments on photogrammetry and accuracy versus regular scan bodies?
such a nice and full of information presentation, thank you Panos
With the DDS technique, the laboratory technician still needs to fabricate a stone idex for the cementation of the prosthesis to ti-bases correct?
Where’s the link between DDS and accuracy? The technique will surely save all the information we need to fabricate the final prosthesis , but I can’t get how this method will ensure passive fit ?
So , patient comes back after osseointegration and provisional, and you’re taking the pins from the surgical guide from original surgery and reinserting them into the tissue . Seems invasive . And hard to find the bone pin Osteotomy especially after everything has healed ..
Are there differences in accuracy of fit in printed vs. milled prototypes?
Saludos desde Sevilla. España. Dr Rogelio Álvarez Marin.
Where do you get fiduciary markers that attach to the palate?
Bs Ns ! excellent
So this works : but when you have a lower arch or double edentulous arch how do You get the DDS technique since markers can’t go on the lower , tongue , lingual area
Even if literature says that the accuracy of full arch impressions is comparable to conventional impressions, do you feel comfortable going from a full arch scan to final, without a verification jig? If yes, is your lab comfortable skipping a verification appointment?
Plz let us know what radiopaque markets were used intraorally.
Can we use the same markers for the mandible…
What type of fiduciary markers did you use during scanning on the palate . Problem I have is that the ones I use don’t stick to soft moist tissue well. Name and where we can get it would be helpful. Thx
I think it is necessary to strengthen the fixation after surgery. Is it okay to use a temporary trimmed denture?
Boa noite.
