Prof. France Lambert
Prof. France Lambert graduated with in dentistry in 2002 and also completed a post-graduate program in Periodontology at the University of Liège. In 2005, she received an ITI scholarship to expand her education in implantology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Currently, she is a Professor and Head of the Department of Periodontology, Oro-dental and Implant Surgery at the University of Liège in Belgium (www.uperio-liege.be) and the co-director of the dental Biomaterials Research Unit (www.d-bru.ulg.ac.be) (d-BRU). Her clinical activity is dedicated to periodontology and implantology. The focus of her research is 1° bone regeneration and biomaterials, 2° soft tissue integration around teeth and implants and 3° innovative and less invasive implant protocols. She lectures internationally, is the author of more than 70 international publications and acts as a reviewer for international journals in the same field. France Lambert is the Chair of the Belgium-Luxembourg ITI section and the past-President of the Belgian Society of Periodontology.
Dr. Algirdas Puisys
DDS – Periodontologist engaged by the Vilnius Implantology Center and Vilnius Research Group in Lithuania. Course instructor and lecturer on a national and international level. Member of the Baltic Osseointegration Association, Fellow of the Lithuanian Association of Periodontology , the International Team of Implantology (ITI) and the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO).
Dr. Edgard El Chaar DDS, MS
Dr. Edgard El Chaar is currently a Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and the Director of Advanced Education Program in Periodontics at New York University College of Dentistry. Former Director and Founder of Advanced Education Program in Periodontics at Lutheran Medical Center. He has a thriving private practice in New York City that specializes in dental implants and Periodontal disease. He is the founder of EEC Institute, a continuing education and research institution focused on the advancement of clinical periodontics and implant dentistry. He travels several times a year to lecture internationally and domestically and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. El Chaar completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, his post-graduate education in Advanced Periodontics and Dental Implants, and received a Master in Oral Biology all from New York University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry. Member and Fellow of Implant Team of Implantology (ITI) and serves on the education committee, and Member of American academy of Periodontology and Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Antonio Castilla Céspedes
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), University of Barcelona/Spain. Postgraduate degree in Prosthodontics, University of Barcelona. Master degree in Periodontology and Implantology, University of Barcelona. Continuing Education in Implantology and Regeneration, University of Münster/Germany. Professor at University of Barcelona from 2005 to 2018. Dr. Antonio Castilla Céspedes lectures at international courses and conferences and he is the co-founder of Back 2 The Toots Academy.
Dr. Serhat Aslan
Dr. Serhat Aslan is a graduate of Ege University, School of Dentistry where he received his DDS degree. He attended Periodontology Program of Graduate Study offered by Institute of Health Sciences at Ege University and graduated with PhD degree at Periodontics. He maintains a private practice limited to periodontics, fixed prosthodontics and implants with focus on microsurgery, hard and soft tissue reconstruction and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Aslan is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Biomedical, Surgical and Dental Sciences, University of Milan, Italy. He is an Invited Professor in Post-graduate Program in Periodontology and Implantology, University of Porto, Portugal.
Currently, he is the board member and treasurer of Turkish Society of Periodontology. Also, he is a member of European Federation of Periodontology, Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology and Turkish Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Aslan is intensely involved in mono/multi-center clinical research and development in periodontology, with special emphasis to plastic-periodontal surgery, guided bone/tissue regeneration and esthetic implant therapy.
Dr. Ann-Marie Roos-Jansåker
Dr. Ann-Marie Roos-Jansåker works as a senior consultant and collaborates with several universities in research into peri-implantitis and periodontitis. She is an associate professor at Malmö university and past president of the Swedish Society of Periodontology and Implantology. Her thesis “Long-time follow-up of dental implants and treatment of peri-implantitis” in 2007, received great international attention when peri-implantitis was not particular recognized. A special interest is how our professional approach reflects on the patient and our ability to guide the patient in behavioral changes. She offers several courses and lectures both nationally and internationally every year.
