Developing a good pink aesthetic score in the anterior maxilla

In the anterior maxilla, it is not just important for an implant to survive and succeed but to also look natural and blend in harmoniously with the adjacent teeth. There are some basic principles that need to be adhered to before we can even do soft tissue grafting to enhance aesthetics in the anterior maxilla. Soft tissue grafts will not work if the implant is not placed in the proper position or if the implant and prosthetic design is not ideal. This lecture hopes to emphasise the basic principles to achieve a good pink aesthetic score in the anterior maxilla.

Participants will be able to list the primary criteria such as Implant Design, Implant position and Prosthetic Design as critical factors influencing the pink aesthetic score in the anterior maxilla.
