Prof Dr Sérgio Rocha Bernardes has a BDS degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Specialist in Dental Prosthesis at the APCD/Bauru, São Paulo, Brazil, Specialist in Implantology at the Federal Dental Council (CFO), Brazil and MSc in Oral Rehabilitation at the Federal University of Uberlandia, Brazil;

His PhD is in Oral Rehabilitation at the São Paulo University/FORP, Brazil with collaborative research at Eastman Dental Institute, London. He’s also a Professor at ILAPEO, Latin American Institute of Dental Research and Education located in the city of Curitiba, Brazil. He’s Director of New Product Development & Clinical Practice at Neodent.

Prof Dr Bernardes has three books published in Brazil about oral implants, immediate loading, guided surgery and Dental Prosthesis applied to implants and several chapters in other local and international books. His main research field is in biomechanics and clinical investigation, where he has international scientific publications.

Dr. Daniel C. Neves has been meeting the orthodontic needs of patients in the Curitiba, Paraná area for over 23 years. After receiving his dental degree from the Catholic University in Brazil, Dr. Neves continued his postgraduate study in orthodontics and earned his certification in the field, as well as a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology, from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He served as an instructor in several post-graduate programs and currently he is a Speaker and a Key Opinion Leader of the Straumann Group, having lectured all over the globe. Dr. Neves is also passionate about golf, having worked as a rules official during the return of Golf to the Olympic Games in 2016 in Rio. He also did volunteer as the International Relations director for the National Golf Federation for many years. In 2020, during the pandemic, he co-founded PUSH Dental Learning & Development, a startup company devoted to knowledge share and innovative educational concepts development.
